Prue Vercoe has over 12 years of publicity and marketing experience. Harnessing her former career as a dancer, Prue maintains a personal passion for Australia’s arts industry. Hanging up her dance shoes in 2000, she soon found her new calling in PR & Marketing, working in some of Australia’s biggest PR agencies, in Consumer and Lifestyle PR for Newsltd, Woolworths, Emirates and Eden Gardens. In 2005, Prue left the corporate world to merge her love of the arts and PR, becoming a freelance publicist for the arts, music and culture scene.

A creative thinker and a dedicated worker, Prue is respected for her strong strategy ideas and excellent time management. Her clients benefit from her personalised approach to every campaign, which she handles with great integrity, passion and diligence, continually achieving terrific results. She has an extensive assembly of media contacts and is well respected with journalists and outlets alike. An avid audience member of dance, music, theatre and visual art exhibitions, Prue is also a qualified Pilates Instructor and Photographer.

I would recommend Prue to anyone who is serious about the PR for their company and artists, knowing that she will strive to achieve high results while working closely with a company to complement their in-house processes and activities. Imogen Corlette, National PR Director, Opera Australia
